Alien Organ is a generative system that behaves like a living internal structure—part brain, part heart. Individual spherical elements emerge over time through self-replication, forming an evolving organism that appears to breathe and pulse.

The work is driven by a rule-based generative process rather than manual composition. Using coroutines and instantiation, each element creates new instances of itself, producing a recursive structure that grows until reaching a defined limit. Once growth slows, the system continues to evolve internally through motion and color change.

Color variation is handled per instance, allowing multiple hues to coexist and shift independently over time. Subtle transformations in position, rotation, and scale create a rhythmic pulsing effect, reinforcing the impression of an organic yet alien life form.

By combining randomness with constraint, the system balances unpredictability and control, resulting in a dynamic composition that feels alive, unfamiliar, and continuously in flux.
